Green Praying Mantis - Watching

While out doing gardening work, this praying mantis would come out from the lavender bush and sit on the side of the house and watch. She stayed in the lavender bush all summer long into the fall. It was a bit difficult to get a good macro photograph because every time I approached, she would head back for the bush.
